The event, which brought together 110 attendees, addressed progress and challenges in the prevention and control of the disease, which constitutes one of the main health challenges for Chilean salmon farming.<br \/><br \/>The event was attended by representatives of the organizations that make up the Yelcho Alliance \u2013 the Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG), the National Fisheries Service (SERNAPESCA), SalmonChile and the Consejo del Salm\u00f3n (Salmon Council), as well as the salmon farming companies Australis Seafoods, Blumar, Camanchaca, Cermaq Chile, Cultivos Yadr\u00e1n, Mowi Chile, Multi X, Salmones Austral, Marine Farm and Ventisqueros. Also participating as guests were representatives from the Chilean Economic Development Agency (CORFO) and Proyecto Pincoy, professionals from four salmonid feed plants, and specialists from 11 pharmaceutical companies and five diagnostic laboratories, along with researchers and academics from seven Chilean universities.<br \/><br \/><strong data-start=\"261\" data-end=\"285\">For more
